AMIS applies ADF expertise for further development of Qualogy’s QAFE Forms 2 ADF Converter
San Francisco October 25, 2015 – Paul Mehilal, CEO and owner of Qualogy and Paul Uijtewaal, CEO of AMIS, signed a cooperation agreement for the continued development of the QAFE Forms 2 ADF Converter during Oracle OpenWorld 2015. AMIS was also appointed the exclusive reseller of Qualogy’s QAFE Forms 2 ADF Converter in the Benelux. As an ADF expert, AMIS is making an active contribution to the improvement and continued development of this tool thus ensuring that the new, high quality ADF application will form the basis for further development.
QAFE is Qualogy’s Application Framework for Oracle Forms and Designer migrations to modern environments. The tool results in a significantly faster migration process. The QAFE Forms 2 ADF Converter was developed for migrating Oracle Forms to Oracle’s Application Development Framework (ADF).
AMIS sees the added value of QAFE in the Forms migration projects that are being performed for customers. Reselling and improving this tool is therefore a logical step.
“We’re happy with this collaboration because we’ve seen how many Forms-based applications are still in production,” says Paul Uijtewaal. “Many users are looking for the logical next step: an efficient way to migrate to a modern application that is both cheaper and faster than rebuilding applications. This is possible with QAFE.”
Qualogy is happy to draw on AMIS’ in-depth knowledge for the ongoing optimization and development of the QAFE Forms 2 ADF Converter. AMIS will ensure that this new ADF application is of the highest quality and that it applies various best practices, many of which in the form of ADF templates and libraries that come with the Forms 2 ADF Converter. This speeds up the completion and fine-tuning of the ADF application considerably.
“This agreement confirms each organization’s strong commitment to providing clients with a cost-effective, reliable and future-proof solution to the growing demand for modern alternatives to Oracle Forms,” says Paul Mehilal, CEO of Qualogy. “The QAFE auto-convertor is the result of years of development. Combined with AMIS’ in-depth knowledge of ADF, we can offer clients worldwide a swift transition from Oracle Forms to Oracle ADF and considerable savings compared to new developments. As Oracle Platinum partners, we’re glad we can keep clients in the Oracle fast lane with this proposition.”
